Make a real difference in a teen’s life, by just being yourself

At Project NextGen, we believe that the most powerful mentors are those who show up with heart, honesty, and zero judgment. We’re looking for individuals who take genuine joy in building trust with teens and young adults. If you’ve been through your own journey and have come out stronger on the other side, you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

Who can become a mentor?

Whether you had your own difficult teenage years, have a background in mental health, or simply a gift for listening without trying to ‘fix’ someone, you can play a critical role in a teen’s life. We believe mentorship isn’t about offering solutions, but rather meeting teens exactly where they are, without pressure or agenda. That’s what real support looks like.

Internships & opportunities

We also offer internship opportunities for mentors who are in school for social work or related fields. Interns receive quality clinical supervision and access to additional training in a wide range of therapeutic modalities for children, teens, and adults.
